The FLOW project partners gathered at DTU Risø Campus for the consortium meeting on 2–3 April — a key milestone that brought fresh momentum, strategic alignment, and renewed energy for the road ahead. Over two days, participants shared major progress across all work packages, discussed challenges, and strengthened synergies. The meeting reinforced that FLOW is on the right track — both scientifically and strategically.
Day 1 centred on technical deep dives. WP1 reported on project coordination; WP2 shared insights into boundary layer height, stability, and lidar observations for offshore wind; and WP3 presented turbine interactions in complex terrain. A key focus was the development of the impact paper, designed to bring FLOW’s results closer to industry application. WP4 and WP5 followed with updates on modelling tools, the WIFA 1.0 release, and uncertainty frameworks — along with valuable lessons from recent hackathon work held on the day before.
Day 2 shifted toward big-picture thinking. WP6 opened with reflections on communication progress and outreach strategy. Cross-WP discussions highlighted strong connections between WPs 2, 3 and 4, feeding directly into the impact paper. Later, a session on validation and standardisation sparked dialogue about FLOW’s potential to shape industry guidelines, and with sunshine on their side, teams moved outside — proving good weather and great ideas go hand in hand.
The meeting closed with a clear sense of purpose: FLOW is delivering strong results, building solid bridges across teams, and setting the stage for even greater impact in the years to come.

Stay tuned for third-year results and the launch of the FLOW impact paper.
