DTU Hosts Kick-Off Meeting for the FLOW Project

The Horizon Europe-funded project, FLOW, marked its promising start with a vibrant kick-off meeting hosted at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) on January 24th and 25th, 2023. Gathering the 10 consortium partners, the event was a pivotal moment that set the stage for the project's ambitious agenda and strategic planning over the next 4 years.


The first day focused on setting the stage, with key presentations from Jakob Mann, Project Coordinator (DTU) and Baris Adiloglu, Project Officer at CINEA. Moreover, Work Package overviews shed light on project coordination, knowledge hub development, engineering models, tools integration, case studies, and communication strategies. Group discussions honed in on critical issues within the work packages, paving the way for future meetings.


The second day delved deeper into collaborative discussions, cross-WP linkages, and identifying urgent issues. Noteworthy sessions included administrative procedures, and maximizing synergy with related projects like Meridional, Aire, and HiperWind. The meeting concluded with a forward-looking open forum, outlining the next steps for the ambitious project.


The FLOW project's kick-off meeting marked an important milestone in its mission to revolutionize the energy landscape, emphasizing collaborative problem-solving and innovation among leading European institutions. The gathering's success signifies the promising future of a project set to redefine sustainable energy and shape Europe's energy sector for years to come.
